Oil is heated to 55 °C in the preheating tank and then it is mixed with catalyst (KOH or NaOH) and methanol. After reaction, glycerin phase is separated from system in sedimentation. Later sedimentation, biodiesel can be optionally washed with water or using dry wash system.
Washing is optional depending on individual expectations. This system includes temperature control, safety sensors and electrical heaters. The valves are manually served. 250 liter raw oil can be processed in 90 mins using this system. Sedimentation and washing tanks are not included in this system.
