What it's all about:The global issue of power economy long concerned owners of private homes. On the one hand, the expenses for heat and electricity steadily rise, on the other hand even for private consumers more and more clever alternatives become available, which allow independence from this development. The availability of fossil energy sources is limited, therefore the exploitation and use of renewable resources as an ecological necessity is also promoted by the state. For owners of private homes several solutions are available, but not in every case the investment is effective. Many concepts are subject to temporary fluctuations in the availability of energy sources (e.g. photo-voltaic), which affects the efficiency of the in many cases complex conversion units and on top of that does not ensure lasting independence from public networks. Therefore, the vegetable oil driven block heating station from regEnergie are the ideal solution for homes - permanently efficient and ecological clean!
How it works:The combined heat and power units (CHP) of regEnergie are engineered especially for use in single and multifamily houses. They consist of diesel engines that are fed with untreated vegetable oil and which are permanently connected with a power generator. Their function and efficiency is based on the principle of combined heat and power (CHP). As the result of reusing the local waste heat of the on-site power generation, CHP reach a high total efficiency up to 87%. The size of a plant depends on its generator capacity - thus, a 30 kW capable plant has the size of a large living room drawer. The cogeneration units by regEnergie are placed into appropriate soundproof rooms (e.g. basement, garage extension). The vegetable oil tank is placed in sufficient distance. The highest efficiency of these systems is achieved in fully automatic continuous operation. They are basically controlled by the associated cabinet. Of course, regEnergie carries out installation, maintenance, and any other ancillary service. The excess of electrical energy coming from the operation of the cogeneration plants by regEnergie can be easily fed into the public power grid and is payed on the basis of REA (Renewable Energy Approval) and CHP surcharge. This just requires a new multiple tariff meter.
The benefit:Both, homeowners and the whole society can take a lot of advantages of the cogeneration units by regEnergie. The most important feature is the eco-friendly generation of heat and electric energy from renewable resources. That way, global resources (coal, oil, natural gas) are saved and the demand of critical technologies (nuclear power) decreased. There is also no emission of fossil carbon dioxide. Instead, the amount of CO2, which is emitted during combustion in the aggregate, is bound by the oil supplying plants itself. Residences with their own cogeneration plant by regEnergie are independent in terms of energy. The plants that were developed especially for that application meet all your needs for heat and electricity. Actually, they produce an surplus at smooth operation, which can be profitably used. The integrated power failure detection always guarantees the independent power supply (so-called island operation). The significantly higher investment costs in comparison to conventional heating systems can be funded by a favorable loan from the KfW-bank and have already fully paid for itself after 10 years. Not least, the CHP plants by regEnergie offer a high reliability and full utilization of the generator, thanks to its fully automatic computer control. The comprehensive services from regEnergie exempt the owners of homes with CHP of any technical effort.
